“The Washington Universalist Church, associated with the Unitarian Universalist Association, is really a unique and special place. If you haven’t been inside the building itself, that alone is worth a visit. With its entirely wood interior there are very few buildings in Vermont that are so beautiful. The gorgeous stained glass windows add to its serenity and important history of this town.
But more importantly, the church provides an opportunity for spiritual growth that is so needed in today’s world with its many challenging situations from local economics to the earth’s environment. Here people from diverse religious, economic, educational and social backgrounds come together–not to be given an answer but to ask important questions and learn the answers for themselves with help from others who are also on a spiritual journey.
Many people are really Unitarian Universalists at heart but just don’t know it. Give the church a visit and see what you think.” – George Plumb

Enjoying good food and fellowship after services
Helping to preserve one of the most unique buildings in the town & in the entire state
Carrying on the rich history of a wonderful town
Being part of a community
